Additional Information

Shock absorbers for the ankle

Each step affects not only the ankle joints, but also the legs, knees and hips, and right up to the spine. Initial talagia can therefore spread if it remains untreated. ViscoSpot® heel orthoses act like shock absorbers for your joints. The viscoelastic material absorbs shock loads and counteracts pain. Even longer walks can be managed easily once again.

Soft and retains its fit

ViscoSpot
® are durable heel orthoses, with a fit which can adapt to every shape of shoe and to every foot. A particularly soft core has been integrated into the particularly pain-sensitive area, in order to provide the highest possible amount of pressure relief in this area. The foot orthosis still retains its shape and function when worn for a long time and subjected to considerable weight. Lasting protection is provided for the knee, hip and pelvic joints. ViscoSpot® heel orthoses and other Bauerfeind products are available from medical and orthopedic retailers. Here, trained staff will advise you and take precise measurements to ensure that your foot orthosis is sitting comfortably and securely in position.

The Bauerfeind ViscoSpot Silicone Heel Pad What is A Heel Spur?

A heel spur is a growth of bone that extends from the heel bone (calcaneus).

This condition is also associated with plantar fasciitis, which is a thick fibrous band that attaches to the spur, causing pain, primarily in the A.M. or after prolonged sitting.
