The LPR ligament knee brace is a product that has evolved from the widespread market demand for rigidity and stiffness in a frame design. Moreover, the X2K brace family – having produced over ten years of successful sales – was in need of a successor.

The LPR embodies the uniqueness of field formability and represents the latest in knee brace technology, patient comfort and performance.

The LPR (Ligament Protection Redefined) is a result of blending aerospace aluminum with a frame shape designed to enhance rigidity that brings the customer – who demands a brace that is stiff in the medial/lateral plane – an extremely lightweight knee brace for patients returning to activities following ACL reconstruction or for those with MCL/LCL and/or ACL ligament deficiencies.

The 7075-T6 high-strength, aluminum frame is designed for impact activities or for those who just want the assurance that they are wearing a knee brace that will stand up to the demands of their weekend activities.

The triangulation of the frame in the proximal and distal lateral "corners" not only adds strength but allows for field adjustability.

The central aspect of the frame is made from wider frame stock and provides a stiff structure around the knee joint as well as accommodates the VMO for an ideal fit for the active user.

Like the Fusion® ligament series, the LPR is equipped with AirTech® frame padding for improved air flow and skin temperature cooling.

Coupled with the innovative non-concentric strapping, the LPR wants to defy migration. Unlike conventional concentric strapping, the LPR’s "diagonal" strapping works against brace rotation – particularly as the knee flexes – allowing the hinges to stay in place at the knee joint to provide support through a wide range-of-motion (to say nothing of the increased space in the popliteal space for comfort in flexion!).
