Independent test results show the Muller ATF2 Ankle Brace does not hamper jumping, speed and agility.

Many braces effectively reduce excessive inversion and eversion, but hamper athletic performance such as running, speed and jumping ability. Twenty-five male athletes (age = 16.6 +/- 0.7 yr.) who did not have a history of ankle injury within the previous year were tested. The test entailed a vertical jump, pro agility (25 yd. shuttle) and 20 yd. sprint, both braced and non-braced. No significant differences were found between the subjects' tests, whether braced or non-braced, i.e. the ATF allows unrestricted foot movement.
