Kool-Wick is an exclusive feature of the Wel-Kare Stretch Night Splint, and only found at The Ankle Shop. A moisture management system that pulls mositure away to help keep you dry and comfortable and extend the life of your night splint. Combined with Bacti-Ban, a unique anti-microbial chemical that resists odor and mildew, you have a great combination of support, durability and protection.

The Microbe Shield Protection Program, M.S.P.P. used by Wel-Kare combines an E.P.A. registered technology, which we call Bacti-Ban(TM) and Kool-Wick(TM), a unique wicking system.

MSPP (Microbe Shield Protection Program) ..
Is effective against a broad spectrum if microorganisms, including mold, mildew, fungi, yeasts and bacteria.
Controls the growth of microorganisms on the product.
Prolongs the effective life of the product.
