Awesome ankle brace. It's as if you didn't have any. You're free to run, but it prevents your ankle to turn on the side. I would recommand it.
I love Active Ankle. I have been using their products for 5+ years now and I never sprained my ankle using the T2. I switched to the VOLT and sprained my ankle on my third use. I think I wasn't used to the double straps and didn't tighten it down enough. Just FYI for any other new users.
This brace worked perfectly for my daughter. Exactly what she was looking for.
My daughter used the strap up braces starting with her first ankle sprain in 5th grade. Many sprains and years later, we discovered the Active Ankle Volt brace which we bought for both ankles. These braces have been AWESOME for supporting her ankles and dramatically reducing the occurrence of ankle sprains her last 2 varsity seasons. I am buying them for my younger daughter (8th grader) now too.
I have used this for quite awhile for playing volleyball. They have held up incredibly well and are quick and easy to put on and take off. I wouldn't trade my braces for anything as I have very weak ankles and these have NEVER let me sprain/twist my ankle while wearing them!
Use it after a sprain, paragliding.
I tore 3 out of 4 ligaments in my ankle playing volleyball. While my ankle heals, my doctor recommended using active ankle volt braces on both ankles. If I didn't have these I wouldn't be playing now. They are light, and keep you from rolling your ankle.
This brace works very well and supports the ankle. You do have to make sure you tighten the double straps. I stand on my feet 5-6 hours per day and it helps a lot.
Great, sturdy, secure ankle brace that withstands the use of several years. Great protection for your ankles!
These braces I've used since 6th grade when I started volleyball. Now, I'm a senior in college and I still use them! They are amazing and light and very easy to play in! #1 recommendation!
The Active Ankles work great right out of the box. My daughter hates binding socks, shoes, etc. She put these on the first day we received and wears them to every volleyball practice and game. No issues with rubbing or blisters. Super product! No more complaining with a sore ankle.
Purchased this product for my daughter who plays HS and club volleyball (DS/Libero). Out of the box, this is a good product. My daughter needed better ankle support after spraining her ankle during HS summer league. Purchased 2 on 7-23-15; on 10-6-15, I had to purchase another one because on one of them, the plastic that connects to the bottom part where the foot sits broke. I know this product has limited warranty since it is a "consumable item" like shoes, but for it to break in less than 90 days under normal usage is disappointing...especially at the price. My minimum expectations for this product was for it to last at least thru the HS season and state tournament...still 3 weeks left of HS season plus state tournament and 1 already had to be replaced.
