Bauerfeind EpiTrain Elbow Support

Worn by many professional athletes, the Bauerfeind EpiTrain Elbow Support is our most popular elbow support. There are few braces that provide the comfort and compression as the Bauerfeind EpiTrain.

Tennis elbow or golfers elbow can cause irritation and pain that inhibits activity and performance. The EpiTrain® active support helps reduce this pain and relieve tension. As you move, the special knitted compressive support with its built-in visco-elastic pads stimulates the muscles and aids healing.

Knitted elbow support incorporating two anatomically contoured inserts surrounding the medial and lateral elbow bones (epicondyles) and lying over the flexor and extensor muscles.

Inserts leave the elbow bones pressure-free and provide an intermittent compression to the soft tissue of the joint, leading to increased circulation, thus aiding in the resorption of swelling and edema.

  • Conforms to the arm's tapered contour
  • Comfortably cushions the sensitive injured muscle
  • Promotes proprioception
  • Heighten sensory awareness in the elbow for increased joint stabilization
  • Graduated compression at the edges prevents constriction of circulation
  • Lightweight, breathable knit will not retain heat and is completely machine washable
  • Available in Black or Titanium

  • Epicondylitis (e.g. tennis elbow, golfer's elbow)
  • Osteoarthritis/arthritis
  • Postoperative and posttraumatic irritation
  • Tendomyopathy
  • Post elbow Arthroscopy
  • Elbow strains or sprains
  • Chronic swelling and edema

  • Localized compression
  • Targeted pressure relief
  • Decrease anti-inflammatory medications

Sizing Chart

Bauerfeind Epitrain Elbow Brace

Point of measurement:

Size is determined by loosely measuring the circumference of the arm, with the arm slightly bent, at 4 3/4 inches below the lateral elbow bone.

Additional Info

Tennis elbow even if you don't play sports

Anyone who repeats the same arm movements every day can be suddenly taken by surprise by sharp pain. The tissues are over-strained and become swollen and inflamed. EpiTrain® massages the tissue during exercise and stimulates the metabolism. This can help the swelling to go down quickly.

Outstanding in form and function

In 2007, the Train® active supports were awarded the iF product design award for their materials and design. The breathable, skin-friendly knitted fabric adapts to your every movement, without cutting into you or slipping. This is why the material is softer and more elastic at the edge of the bandage. In this way, EpiTrain® supports the healing and mobility of the elbow.

Best I've used

I have had medial tendinitis for over a year and tried just about everything. I do Crossfit 4/wk and have found that this is the easiest and most effective way to brace the tendon. I avoid the problem exercises and wear the brace and the tendon is finally getting better. Easy on and off for when I use it and then want it off. My only complaint is it is pretty hot to wear when it is a warm temperature but that is still worth it.

AWESOME brace for tennis & Golfers elbow

I have had acute tendinitis (tennis & golfers elbow) for months due to extreme exercise 5X/week. It was so bad that I can not use my arm and my hand is not working properly. I have tried everything including a Steroid injection. A German Orto Doc highly recommended this brace even though it is a challenge to purchase living abroad. This is the best brace and the only thing I have found that is actually starting to work. I have to wear it all day until bedtime. Living in the tropics the material does not vent well this is the only complaint I have. I love the brace so much that I have actually purchased another one. One for the gym and one for work. As a businesswoman they look nice enough to wear with business attire and are not an eye sore. Worth the money.
