| What is the Elbow?|
The elbow is classified as a hinge joint. It is comprised of 3 bones ' the humerus, radius and ulna bones.
Ligaments hold the 3 bones together to provide joint stability, while muscles & tendons around the elbow provide the strength & movement to flex and extend the elbow.

wonderful product. Well constructed. Easy to put on/off. Thicker straps in the middle would be my only recommendation.
This brace is just what I needed to maintain stability of my elbow. Military brace was not cutting it. My only complaint is it is a one size fits most and I have very small arms. Keeping the brace secure and in place is difficult now that I have a bit more mobility.
I dislocated my elbow. Ouch. After having it popped back in place (ouch again) I was referred to an orthopedist. She prescribed me to wear this product. I hadn't met my insurance deductible and I was told that it would cost me $431.00. Crazy! I went home from the doctor and pulled up this website. Same brace for $160. Yep, that's for me. Ordered it and it was delivered in 3 days. Only complaint about the product is that it manages to slide down my arm a little as the day goes on, but other than that, it give me a lot of support as my elbow heals.
The adaptation is easy. It is light. Gives a lot of support. easy to handle and put on/off. I just hope it will last long enought , till I don't need it any more.
I received mine from a PT. The bendable pads are very stiff and definitely require the assistance of a professional, especially if you have an arm which you should not be stressing. Fine tuning took approximately half a day of tweaking afterwards. Very nice product once fitted properly. The accessory pack comes with two felt-rubber pads which cover the velcro edges. This allows you to place the forearm cuffs against clothing without scratching. The only problem is that these covers are also needed for the upper cuffs if sleeping in the device. They only provide 2 of these. I can make my own or use black duct tape, though.
